Again, quite a chill week in the world of music. Here are a few favourites of mine that have been repeated plenty this past week, especially today as it is my "pyjama day."

So earlier this month, I had ordered some prints that I have been wanting for a very VERY long time as a sort of birthday present to myself. I spent almost two weeks, going to the mailbox every morning hoping to see that the prints had arrived, and on Sunday - they finally did!
Sunday it was raining hard core and even hailing at times in Jerusalem (so much for Spring showing up), and me being the crazy person that I am, I decided to go to the post office to get my prints. So after a broken umbrella, being rained on and having makeup smeared everywhere - I got my prints! I didn't even care about the rain, I was so stoked!
Firstly, if you haven't heard of Smäm yet... WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN LIVING? UNDER A ROCK??? She is one of the most brilliant and talented artists in our day. I had the privilege of staying with her and her family in Sweden last month, and can say that she also has one of the greatest personalities I have come across. Okay.. I'll stop the compliments now. Anyhow - my room has new artwork!!!!
My room has never looked better. Thanks Smäm! Head over to her site now, if you haven't already. Trust me, she also blogs... So just do it. Go, go, go, go! Why are you still reading? ;)

Music of the Week... These are just a few things that I have been playing over and over again this week.. It's been an extremely "chill" music week this week. Not quite sure why, but slower has just been really doing it for me this past week. So without any further introductions, in no particular order. What I've been listening to most this week.
No. 1 - Thirteen Thirty-Five by Dillon
This was a song I discovered this past week and her voice intrigued me so much that I couldn't stop listening. The lyrics are a little bit strange but I quite like that about it. The lyrics, although could be interpreted as quite creepy, flow extremely well together - there's no denying that. Deeper story perhaps?
No. 2 - Pull Me Down by Mikky Ekko
Something that's been on pretty much all my playlists ever since I discovered it while I was in Finland. Probably also has something to do with the fact that I am one of the biggest Mikky Ekko fans that has ever existed. Okay... I'm over exaggerating. But you get the point.
No. 3 - Shoulda by Jamie Woon
Also a recent discovery. I quite liked it. Again, a pretty chill song. But very intriguing. I have a feeling it's the lyrics that really connected to me... Maybe... Just a really good song.
No. 4 - Strings by MS MR
I fell in love within the first 20 seconds of this song. I thought it was so brilliantly written and flowed extremely beautifully. Definitely worth listening to. It's been a staple "ON REPEAT" this week.
No. 5 - Sun by Sleeping At Last
These guys know what they're doing when it comes to music.
No. 6 - Now I'm All Messed Up by Tegan & Sara
Because you've always got to have some Tegan and Sara in your life.
What have you been listening to this week?

I just started experimenting a little bit recently with some double exposure editing techniques in photoshop. Figured I would share my first try with you guys. Looking forward to experimenting much more with this style!

Also extremely cool, I've had a few people request to purchase this picture as a canvas! AAAH! That's pretty awesome to me.

So I don't normally post on Sundays, but as I realised that I had almost a week last week without any posts, it would be appropriate to play a little bit of "Catch-Up." So when we went to Jakobstad (Pietarsaari), in Finland, we had an unusually large amount of "Israeli's" there. From left to right - Nathaniel (who got married), Josh (his best man), Jonathan (groomsman), and Maggy (otherwise known as LivingTall). Kurt (Maggy's husband) is the tall one pictured in the second photo with her. And obviously, Nate's bride in the photo with him from their wedding day.
'Twas quite a blast :) Anyhow... Blog schedules should be going back to normal now. See you tomorrow!

As I write this, I am currently sitting in a train, which I have spent more time on than in any other kind of housing in the past few days. As you know by now, I arrived in Finland on the 30th of January, spent one night in Espoo before beginning my trip up north on a 4.5 hour train ride. First stop - Jakobstad (Pietarsaari). A very small yet incredibly atmospheric city. Personally, I wouldn't be able to live there but I do see the appeal to... well... retired people. I stayed there for one night as the next day was one of my good friends weddings (pictured below), and I was photographing it. It was actually pretty amazing as we had a group of us who had met in Israel who all came for his wedding, which turned out to be lots of fun. And get this - it was a STEAMPUNK WEDDING! How cool is that? First themed wedding I've ever been to.
After their beautiful wedding, I headed to Kokkola by cab for Wedding Number 2. I checked in to my hotel and got everything ready before falling asleep. In the morning, I went down for hotel breakfast before getting ready for the wedding and heading off to the church with my camera in hand. As I was just a supporting photographer type person, I was also able to enjoy the wedding a little bit, as the bride was also somebody that I had met in Israel.
And here I am... sitting in my train looking out the window into the pitch black trying to make out where exactly we might be at the moment. I am heading to Helsinki to have a few portrait sessions with some beautiful people before heading to my Grandma's, packing up, and heading to the airport early in the morning.
This has been an incredibly busy time but I have so enjoyed it! Although not much sleep has been had, I feel incredibly accomplished with the amount that I have done.
Hope you guys have an awesome week!
